In early November 2019, China smart home industry alliance (cshia) and KNX Association officially reached strategic cooperation. KNX association is an international organization that promotes KNX technology and standards in the world. In 1999, it was jointly established by eiba (European Installation Bus Association), ehsa (European household appliances association) and BCI (batibus International Club). KNX is an open international standard in the field of home and building control, which is developed from the integration of EIB, batibus and EHS. KNX standard has been approved as European standard (CENELEC en 50090 & Cen en 13321-1), international standard (ISO / IEC 14543-3), American Standard (ANSI / ASHRAE 135) and Chinese standard (GB / T 20965-2013). KNX is the creator and owner of international standards for home and building control systems. KNX association is committed to the development and promotion of KNX technology and standards.
Cshia was founded in 2012. It is a smart home technology collaborative innovation service platform jointly established by research and development, production, operation, sales units and relevant organizations engaged in smart home related technologies and products in China. Cshia is committed to establishing industry product, technology, construction and other standards, providing industry information and technology exchange, market research, product service display, industry self-discipline, supervision, testing and consulting services for enterprises, safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of consumers, and actively promoting the healthy and sustainable development of smart home industry. As of October 2019, there are more than 200 directors and governing units of cshia. Through six years of professional and technical training, cshia has attracted more than 1600 professional integrated service providers, covering 31 provinces and autonomous regions in China. At present, it has covered chip, module, scheme, manufacturing, product and other industrial chain links vertically, forming a complete ecological pattern covering platform providers, equipment providers, solution providers and integrated service providers horizontally.
The strategic cooperation reached this time will help both sides and member enterprises to explore more in-depth and extensive cooperation models. In the future, cshia and KNX Association will continue to play their respective advantages and promote collaborative innovation and development in smart home technology application, product interconnection, channel cooperation, etc.
